How to invite friends to non-dedicated server

Hello. Trying to invite someone on LAN to my non-ded server. Seems like there used to be an 'Invite Friends' option built into the game interface that is now no longer available.

Simple question: how do I invite a friend to my running non-dedicated server? Thanks for info!

in my experience, try to ask your friends to join your game through the friend list menu on steam.
First you open your game and run your non-dedicated server;
When your server is opened and running nicely you ask then to join your match!
make sure everyone has the same mods subscribed on workshop and everyone is up to date with everything!
that should cover it! at least this do the trick for me when i run my non-dedicated server!

Ok thank you. We've never joined through the firend's list before though - is it fairly self explanatory using that method?

how about now that the steam chat/friend menu is all messed up?

1)
go on your server then tell your friend to check on steam then view menu then server and the last panel show the server where your friend play , tell them to put yours on "favorites" so thats they can find him when you're not online .

2) go to "what's my ip" on google then use your ip and at the end of it you put the number you opened on your internet box .
if your ip is 1.25.23.1 and you port open (check your .bat file if you don't know) is 27015
then people will find your server (if online) with 1.25.23.1:27015.
