Ragnarok Secrets + Status Effect no one knows???

I was curious if anybody had any interesting Ragnarok related finds that they thought was interesting. I've had a few of my own that I've thoroughly been surprised with and also found this odd status effect that I can't seem to find anywhere. I'll post a screenshot here below:

it's a hot spring status effect i believe. i don't know what it does, but if i can guess, i imagine an exp boost, by how much % i do not know.

I really like the number of different resources that you can pick up without needing any tools. Everything is so accessible everywhere on the map, some in more limited quantities than others. And the variety of the graphics for resource nodes.

Also, there are a lot of small, secluded locations that are perfect places for solo players to build bases.

And yeah, I like sitting on the shelves at the hot springs.

Also some locations that are just....interesting. Look for a small cave with a dead, tortured body, and a bunch of cages. One guy got out and almost made it to the doorway before being killed.

I dont have the map installed BUT what dopes the advanced tip for the buff say? Should be bound to a key that'll tell you what everything means in relative detail.

@Nachoboi - I'm not honestly sure. I've been looking around to see if there's a way to look at current status effects but I haven't been able to find anything. I did find on Ragnarok's preview that they said and I quote:

"Hot springs that while dormant yield a relaxing buff, but when active, become dangerous"

After certain intervals of the game, the volcanic area (aka the wyvern nest for Ragnarok) will erupt and all of what look like cooled off lava trails will become active lava trails and rocks will be fired out of a pool of a lava. While this is erupting is when the geysers (seemingly directly adjacent (west) of the volcanic area) will start to fire off.)


@Ten24 - In a nearby location to the Blue Beacon, up in the forest where Spinos spawn at the lake. (What I call 'Predator Lake') A mysterious glow can be found by a shrine that sticking up out of the trees that seems like a bunch of round stones stacked on top of each other. If the area is safe enough, there'll be some stairs that lead down with a bunch of great ape statues. If you dig down there, you might find something useful. ;P


@Valkyrie - I've noticed that there are several HUGE caves that can be found around the area that are perfect for setting up a home. I chose one by the Blue Beacon myself but I've seen a couple of cool spots in the Canyons, over by the Castle, and around the western forest of Viking Bay. :D

@Marlfox Nice - In an area near the center of the existing map, you may notice a bunch of plateaus with metal nodes. One of these plateaus may have a lake, upon it, which warrants further investigation.

I have wondered what the effect was for a long time now, and I guess I'm going to have to make it my mission to find out.

There are so many interesting spots on the map, but my most recent find was an easter egg a tribemate told me about...Shrek's stump/house hidden in some trees. Was pretty well hidden and I can't remember exactly where, but I'm sure could be looked up if you want.
