ark building sucks

havnt played in long time, some friends were so i joined them. went to build base and i forgot how frustrating building can be. pillars and walls green in a spot then place somewhere completely differnt. foundations not wanting to snap easily, and sometimes not at all. so many times clipping not letting you place. so much uneven ground. i really forgot how retarded ark building was. it is so frustrrating. wish they would fix the snapping and clipping points already without mods.

Isn't the point of fence foundations that they don't snap? So they can go around rocks and other terrain and not just straight lines and right angles.

Why didn't the devs simply replace default items to S+ items instead of having to have all these unneeded engrams?

so many times placing , its in the spot... its green... dont movveee... click! and it is placed somewhere completely wrong. especially pillars, but other stuff too. not saying im expert, but i hate building in ark. they need to let you clip more. so many times the position is fine and shouldnt be clipping and it just doesnt let you. they need to fix many issues like clipping and snapping, and placement issues that are just a huge horribly frustrating.

Fence foundations do snap. And they snap at several different angles so you can go around obstacles. What that person was talking about I believe was having them all snap level with each other.

While I'd love to see this, S+ has its own faults :D namely that you could run an entire island from one generator xD

Items showing the green preview in one place and then putting the actual piece in a different is one of the most frustrating things. Or when the green preview shows and you click and you hear the placement sound. . . But it doesn't place. And the two above things happen over and over and over. . .
