Stop Follow (U key) Not Working

One of these recent hotfixes seems to have broken my U key. I have to face a dino and press Y to get them to stop following me. The binding for U is right, and even rebinding it does nothing. The whistle happens audibly, but the dinos ignore it (not set to ignore it). I've reset binds, verified cache integrity, and even tested diff keyboards.

Anyone have a clue? Am I just overlooking something simple?

I don't know much about those honestly. I took a break when they were introduced, and dont really know how they work. I've tried it with some that I never used for anything but eggs, and still have to use Y to unfollow.

Nope. I checked it and toggled it back and forth.

Simply deactivate the selected group (Num pad on your keyboard).
I had the same problem and it was caused by a selected group.

hit 1 on the numpad for the default tame group with every dino in it, and that should work :) if not i can help you next time i am on tooh :P

Thanks for the help. I managed to figure out thats what it was. Recently bought a keyboard without a tenkey and goofed it up somewhere.

In case you didnt know that is not true. after pressing 1 on numpad once it will go to group 1. If you press it again it will go to none. same with 2. after pressing 2 on numpad once it will go to group 2. If you press it again it will go to none. Same with all up to 10 in which 10 is numpad 0

Hmm that's quite odd as numpad zero is supposed to act as group 10 on ark. Atleast that is how it works for me.

Make sure you clear your tame groups. press Z to see if youre in one. Should say None.
