For example: if you already have a dodo which have the mating timer counting from 3 hours, if you change the setting and restart the server, your dodo will still have the timer counting from where it left (3 hours). However, when your dodo mates again, the new settings will be applied.
Similarly, if you already have a baby, its mature speed wont change. Cuddle interval will only have effect after its next cuddle.
Same for eggs: if you already have a fertilized egg, its hatching speed wont change when you change the ini. However the next egg will have the new setting.
Your config file seems to be OK for me. Maybe someone more clever comes in... :)
The thing is I'm not even running a server. This is in SP mode
You might need to add the .0 at the end.
Tried with 20.0 and 20.000000, makes no different
If not, and those lines are all that is in the game.ini file, try creating a new file and typing it all in again. Maybe there is something odd about how it is in the file now. Some hidden characters that prevent it from getting past that first line.
Yeah pure vanilla. I had Joan Egg mod before but it never works so I tested with 0 mods. Same result
Also create a new Game.ini as you suggest, same result
I play DOTA 2 instead
