Report a translation problem
I circunvent the problem by jumping forward (with spacebar) while climbing. Just add another ladder on top o the final platform, jump forward. Works everytime.
Adding Fences to smallest guard towers is helpful, to not fall off the roof ^^
In case of very lenghty ladders, you may need to build some trapdoors, closing them may help you avoid broken legs :p
it's a known issue that exists for a few months now. ladders are broken since at least 6 patches now and it hasn't been fixed for a while now.

Actually, that is a different bug. This newer bug of getting stuck on the ladders came as a result of fixing that bug you linked where you would always fall off of the top of the ladder.
