protecting against wyvern breath

So I play on a modded server that has added the SE dinosaurs to the island. I have a paracer I just finished taming and I was hoping to make it an anti-wyvern platform. The problem I encountered last time I went up against a wyvern was the breath would take me out before my dinosaur. Is there a way to protect myself as a rider from the wyvern breath? I have a platform saddle, but I've seen videos of wyvern breath going through metal walls and killing dinos inside.

Any tips would be appreciated.

So.....you are asking how to protect yourself when you get hit by a massive flame, lightning strike, or ball of acid poison, since metal walls can't stop them?!?........ I'd say use a personal forcefield if and when they invent it and add it to the game. Otherwise...you're out of luck.

Fire and Lighting should hit the dino first if your riding the paracer or in a mounted turret (like the Minigun Turret)
If you are walking on the back on the paracer in a building on its back...the fire and lighting will get you if you have anything open (including windows)

Poison will still hit you tho, but you can make a Gas Mask which makes you immune to it

nice, that's just what I was wondering, so the poison is really all I have to worry about if I have a gas mask or a turret or I'm riding the paracer. Thanks buddy. Think I'll invest in a minigun turret for it then.

Amongst lots of other things, you can craft Asbestos Armour, which makes you totally immune to electric and poison breath, and take vastly reduced damage from flame breath and weapons and can't be set on fire. You'll also be able to ignore sandstorms and superheats. The caveat is that to gain the immunity you must have the entire set of armour equipped, and it's quite expensive to craft.
