it only shows on the icon at the top right of the screen, not in the actual stats of the mosa.
but it is sloooowly ticking down.
yes, i have been fighting with sabertooth salamon...
but then the important question is, will my mosa die if that 'fake' oxygen bar gets depleted?
Nope, I have a mosa with depleted "oxygen", it adds a lungs icon in the UI when you ride the mosa, but the HP is not reduced.
my thoughts exactly, still an uncomfortable factor i guess to have that lungs icon popping up.
i hope they fix it then at some point :)
thanks for the information guys.
I know it has been around for a long time but bugs are always going to get prioritised no matter how small and a visual bug that has zero impact on gameplay is not going to get much love unfortunately.
when a looping chainsaw noise is much more important than for example holes in the terrain on Aberration that allows players to get outside the actual play area.
I could go on forever with examples like those, but I won't.
But I could.
by the way, the looping chainsaw nose has been there since Scorched Earth got released.
For me it did impact my gameplay. When you are unaware of this bug and you are running the cave of lost faith and see your poor basilo has only 5 oxy left... you dont wait to see 'what happens if...' you abort and go all the way back home to saftey. Once home I then took time to figure out whats going on. Fooled me once... so next time ya it wont effect me... but it will always get you the first time.
I run caves with basilo too, it took about 10 runs for my meter to deplete and for my basilo to get the lung debuff. So in those 10 runs, where you saw your basilo had an oxygen meter, you didn't once think to google it? If you had you would have seen it doesn't mean anything, because that's exactly what I did.
I grew up in an era where the internet didn't even exist, if anyone should be playing the "I don't know how to google" card, it's me.
