Pulminoscorpius not laying any eggs?
So I'v tamed 5 female scorps and 1 male for a mate boost to increase the egg laying rate, and also have a oviraptor near by (which does nothing to scorpions), and I have not seen a single egg the entire time since I'v tamed them. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? I'v had scorps on other servers before and it worked perfectly fine.

They wont lay as often as other dinos as they dont get an oviraptor bonus.

I get that, but not a single egg in 2 days (real life days) is a bit strange to me.

Try moving them a little. For some reason they may be laying eggs but they are falling through the floor, still happens to me at times. Move them from where they are to a slightly different area and try there.

Hope this helps.

Will try it out, thanks!

there's also a bug where they won't lay eggs if they're standing on a spot where something used to spawn (a tree or a rock). So moving them should help :)

So basically if I put a platform int he air (on pillers) then that bug won't have any effect?
If you have a lot of eggs stashed near them that can suppress egg production as well. Cook it down to kibble and your egg production should shoot back up.

No, that bug happens (or happened? Dunno if they fixed it yet or not) wether the spawn was suppressed or not.

Are you actually at your base/egg farm? I noticed that they lay way more often when you're around doing stuff like farming, building etc.

I'm with them all the time since they are at my main base.

Wow the theories in this thread are ridiculous. Reminds me of all the theories to get mantis to lay on SE.

Why doesnt someone suggest the OP stand on 1 leg.......

OP they do not lay frequently, it is as simple as that. Sometimes they do not lay at all. I just spent 2 hours around my base waiting to hatch an egg and didn't get any eggs and before that I was constantly going back and forth (in and out of stasis) as I was taming stuff and no eggs.

They are the only dino that I always tame 5-6 of, as you have done simply because they are slow.

Any suggestion above is just complete BS with absolutely no proof. Moving them around, making sure there are not too many eggs in storage. I thought I heard it all. Guess not.
Wow, I'm convinced by that scintillating bit of science. Thanks, Cobretti, for all the hours you put in testing the theories and recording your results to weed out the invalid ones! You sure contributed a lot to this thread.

Anyone know if the egg drop rate is low for scorps or if there is any certain bug I should be aware of?

Moving them to another location often helped me, when they weren´t laying eggs. Try different locations, you will see.

I have 4 females and 1 male.. I have them on a wood foundation with a ramp.. Other dino's close by and an ovi raptor loaded down and on wander.. I get at least 1 egg minimum sometimes as many as 3 or 4 everyday from my scorps.. I am on an official server...
