Electrical Cables not visible.

So I'm trying to place down some electrical cable attached to my generator but I can't see either the green ghost version of it when it's placed on a foundation or the cable itself when placed on the foundation. If it somehow matters the foundation is stone.

if you replce the stone foundation with wood you should see the cables. stone sits slightly higher than wood and you cant see the cables at ground level. good for hiding the cables, not so good for placing them

They fit right in the top of the foundations/ceilings and can be practically impossible to see sometimes. I find that sometimes I have to destroy ceilings/foundations and then replace them as I go along laying the cables. Sometimes that is the only way to see them.
