Maybe screenshots of what you are trying to do will help? That way we can see what is happening with your build.
ehm... you can place ladders on walls. just give us some screenshots like tanek said
You do not need pillars to place a ceiling... You simply need a wall that is connected to a foundation... You can ALSO use pillars to support a ceiling tile but that is not required. And if you want to use a ladder to get up to a second floor I reccomend using the "Hatch frame" ceiling piece and attaching the ladder to the opening on it.
I'm shocked such a simple task is proving difficult for someone to understand, this isn't exactly advanced construction.
If you're trying to do something very specific, be very specific and include pictures. If you are simply trying to build a ceiling, get rid of the pillars that are in the way causing the tile to snap to them instead.... You simply need a foundation for a floor, a wall, and a ceiling to snap to that wall.
Well, I once played ARK without building a base, I just went for movementspeed and was able to outrun any threat, lived on raw meat and berries. : P
Yea, that point where you are able to outrun Allos lmao
In that case, again, screenshots of where the trouble is will help.
