Weight's your big priority for a lumberjack. My theri (currently 190-something, perfect tamed) has 243% damage, 3k health, 1400 stamina, and 1500 weight. I've only levelled weight so far, and I pull in 1500-2000 wood in about 2 minutes. They're mean enough to stand a fighting chance at factory-standard combat stats.
Ehhh... sometimes it's useful to put a few levels in food. My only flyer right now is a cargo quetzal who tamed with a puny 1800 food. He starved every time I flew him anywhere. Levelling dodos and other designated egg layers with food just helps add a buffer between feedings. Oxygen can be useful for getting some... creative underwater exploration going on before you're quite ready to build an aquatic pen. It's all in how you use them.
1: trough on quetzal back or kill stuff on the go
2; trough them dodos thats animal abuse !!!
3: theirs a several land mounts that can go underwater for decent amounts of time without a drop in oxy
In that case I lvl hp to 10000 and melee to about 400 if possible then maybe stamina to 1500
After that just put any bonus points where you see fit
