Quick Question with Blueprints
I found a Ramshackle blueprint for a Parasaur Saddle, and a blueprint for a regular Parasaur Saddle. Both had the exact same stats (oddly enough), but the Ramshackle blueprint requires more materials.
Is there something special about the Ramshackle that I can't see, or did I just get unlucky with my Ramshackle find?

You got very unlucky. Usually they will be at least a little better.

But how exactly is that? If one is prim and one is ram but the prim one has more armor and durability? Seems more of a rough scaling grade than anything rock solid, given the sometimes randomness of the stats.

In this case the question is if they have the exact stats but the Ramshackle one costs more to make how is this better?

Answer is: It's not. It's actually worse.

ramshackle blueprints and items you find tend to generally have random stats. its possible for a ramshackle item to have worse stats than basic and better stats than a higher level item. its pure rng

Thanks for all the replies, guys! Go figure, I'd finally get something that supposed to be better than primitive but actually wasn't. :P

Apparently people cannot read... You said "They had the same stats" Meaning no the ramshackle didn't have higher armor. And no there is nothing special about the color, it comes down to what the stats say is what you get, however in most cases the rarer ones should have higher stats.

One thing I'd like to ask, was the durability the exact same + the armor?... because even though durability is useless on saddles (Currently) it does count towards them rolling primitive or ramshackle ect...

It's often you can get more armor out of a lower "Quality" recipe, because the other one has way more durability.

And thus you should always go with the one with more armor regardless of "Quality"... Because currently durability on saddles is useless.

I have found ascendant blueprints/gear that have stats basically as good as apprentice at times, the stats for things are very rng based so it comes down to luck to finding a really good "low tier" blueprint so you can make them cheaper but still have a great item.

Yeah, both stats were the same. Armor was 39.1, and the durability was 54.7. I'm still holding onto the blueprint for now.

from raptorclaws I got a BP for an acendent Doed saddle which costs 6x the amount of resorces as the JM one I have , the armour is practically the same but the JM BP has much better durability
