How do you select a tame group??
How do you select a tame group?

How do you deselect a tame group?

Do all dinosaurs now have to be in a group for whistle to work?

Whenever I mount a dinosaur the whistle doesn't work anymore.

tame groups are for when you want specific dinos/groups. If you have an empty one, basically all dinos will ignore you unless you do the individual whistle on that specific dino

Do you know which hotkeys trigger a whistle group? For example: When I press 1 on the number pad all of my tame group 1 dinosaurs have a green flashing arrow, but ignore whistles.

You need to make the groups yourself...

That wheel is to add the class(specific dino type) to the groups...

Do you know which hotkey is used to activate a certain group?

use number pads

I try using number pad but it doesn't do anything except green arrows. If I just open up the dinosaur with my E key and just look, but not modify the settings then the dinosaurs listen to whistles.

The arrows indicate dinos that are under that group.
this is getting nowhere. I'm not understanding what exactly is the problem. Do you not know the set up of tame groups or do you not know how to use the groups? What are you specifically asking for?

I figured it out, If I press the 1 key again it selects the tame group.

on controller if you hold the Back/select button a wheel pops up that lets you choose a tame order and a few other things like toggle HUD and Orbit Cam. On PC theres no Keybind for this exact wheel. instead you use the numpad for the tames and the other options are separate keybinds. i.e. Orbit camera is mouse wheel

On pc tame orders are accessed via the numpad 1 for group 1 etc. If your character looks up and down when hitting 8 2 4 or 6 hit number lock so that they work as tame groups instead. You can access the menu by hitting i on your keyboard and then picking the tab taming groups, you can name them etc from there. Holding E on a dino and accessing the tame groups from the dinos radial menu allows you to add that specific tame or its class to a grouping so it responds to your whistle(it only affects the selected dinosaurs in your active group). When you cycle taming groups on the bottom right using number pad it should flash the current tame group in light blue lettering. Alternatively all together you can set your active group from the taming tab I mentioned above after hitting i. Hope this helps at least one caveman out there. Good luck!
