Now imagine having to go through all this from scratch on a server that's Difficulty Override 9 (10's the cap atm), where things spawn up to level 460. XD That's my server. It's hard as balls but so rewarding!
I kept a vary eye on my surroundings, tried to keep to the shadows as much as possible in the hopes of avoiding heat stroke, and hid from predators. The tribe leader did the same (we were not in the same tribe yet though), while we listened to our third member as she died repeatedly because she kept taming Jerboas, and got killed by all kinds of predators for her efforts. It was hilarious to listen to. XD
I take it it isn't possible to play on a multi-map server without SE?
Downside is you are exposed easily to pvp people even if you do the raft foundatiom glitch so dont stay on the raft base for too long. Scored earth doesnt really have much water but enough to put around in. Also build smal bases on top of rocks or cliffs to prevent predators from reaching you.
In the base game it is raining almost non stop, you cannot die by climatic situation while in SE you die from climatic events.
SE is so much more entertaining imo.
You do realize that any areas with water on Scorched Earth are only about... 5 feet deep right?
