Eurypterid in the Center
I'm still getting to know The Center map ocean biome so I'm still a bit lost. Where can I find Eurypterids to farm Black Pearls? According to the wiki they are supposed to be somewhat common in whatever it is that lies underneath the tropical island with the Blue Obelisk. Is there a cave there or something?

Also, what are the best locations to farm Black Pearls in The Center? (Given that the wiki seemed to be outdated when I previously asked about Gigas)

Sure, but at what points of the map exactly? There are spots in the ocean floor of the Island that don't have Eurypterids after all

They only spawn in the very deep parts of the ocean and they are somewhat rare. They are also incredibly tiny and hard to spot! They apply a lot of torpor, too, so if you're on a Megalodon, be careful.

They only drop one or two black pearls per Eurypterid, too, so it's really not worth going after them for black pearls. At all. Tusos and Alpha Mosas drop way more.

From personal experience, they spawn much more frequently in the trench between the red obelisk island and the mainland. Pretty good chitin supply if you kill all the dunkleos as well.
