Megalosaurus babies
I was just wondering how we are supposed to raise these things. They eat an insane amount of meat, pretty much 1 per second, and I can't seem to keep them alive. Any tips or tricks to keep this thing going? I managed to tame a 145m and 150f so I'd like to start breeding them.

tried it this weekend. they are going to need to fix their food consuption during the day. otherwise it is undoable. even after the 9 hour baby time mine and I left it with 3 full troughs it still starved to death :|

It's terrible. I tried to work with one but it involved way to much time and food. They need to do something with it. I don't know if they will though considering how long it's been out for and they haven't adjusted it yet.

Never let the baby sleep

While the unconscious megalosaurus does consume food faster than the awake creature, but it is still a fraction of the amount that a sleeping megalosaurus will consume.

So when raising a baby, always keep it awake until it goes unconscious, then repeat. This will save you TONS and TONS of food

but once the baby hits juve and it gets knocked unconscious it WON'T eat from the trough, learned that the hard way :(

They need to do something about it. Either remove the sleep mechanic or decrease it's food consumption rate.

they would probably knock themselves out while staying awake in the water during the day :(

That is a neat trick....wonder how long before they change it so tamed swimming dinos can go unconscious.

raised multiple megalosaurus babies just have them following another tame this stops them curling up to sleep and will have a normal food consumption rate however you need to keep food on them for when they collapse from torpor since they wont eat from trough when this happens just keep a timer for when imprints are due and feed them stimulants to wake them up in time

wait does it prevent them from falling asleep once it gets them to max torpor?
