Why do all youtubers do the same thing?

I wanna watch ark videos on YouTube but everytime i try its the same crap that slipgator has been doing since ark was released. Its not just with ark its with most games you have like 30 different youtubers doing the same crap with slightly different style no one ever tries to innovate.... why?

Because they are scared they might loose sub's and have to get a real job. So most youtubers are a copy/paste of a youtuber with more subs then them.

I make YouTube videos as a hobby and i have tried to be unique but its hard when i have to work 40 hours a week to pay the bills.

Im not really interested in trying to do something innovative as a youtuber myself as i don't have the time but when at work id like to watch ark videos but its all the same crap. I do like neebs videos but again i can only watch so many, most of them ive seen...

Any other interesting youtubers out there?

I make youtube videos but only because I am retired and bored. My son constantly asks me to record certain games or show games in my library. I have 30 sub's I believe but I dont do anything regularly except go fishing.

I have to say my YouTube "Style" if that's what you call it has been heavily influenced by watching Gopher. It's only natural when you have interests and love for the same games. I have played some other games over the last year that he would never cover to try to differentiate myself a bit and find my own identity, I started doing Ark videos and then discovered the likes of Sl1pG8r and Zueljin so now I'm not sure I'll do more Ark videos as the content has been done so much by so many. I think I just have to sit and wait for the next Bethesda game or CD Projekt Red.
I don't have enough subscribers or viewers to think about doing YouTube as a career, but I do enjoy producing the videos and making the content. In some ways it's kept me interested in gaming at times when gaming has been very flat. I've even played games I never would have because I've done videos.

My main problem with youtube and specifically Ark videos is you will see a video titled "Giga Taming" and then it's an hour long video with some muppet talking ♥♥♥♥ for 55 minutes and then 5 minutes related to the title of the video

If you want to do a lets play then by all means do one but don't make a click bait title, tell people its a lets play so we know you will be talking ♥♥♥♥ for most of it
