Hi, I'm from Australia and I uninstall Ark almost every day. I am trying to quit but its like a drug so it's constant uninstall and reinstall.

Anyways, takes me about 5-6 hours to install with scorched earth DLC

Never really timed it. Will do next time I uninstall :)

Your DL speed will be mostly based on your level of service from your ISP. If you buy the cheapest package they offer, expect long DL times. Meaning, if you want faster DL, contact your net provider and ask tehm how much a better spped package cost. Then change if you want it.

You are not from Australia, you wouldnt understand

Pretty bad net speeds here. They are rolling out a faster fibre network (still slow compared to the US) but much of Australia doesnt have access to it. Trust me if I had the option to get faster speed I would buy it.

Bad net product still doesnt change the basics of what i said. It'll be ISP related based on what service you have. Also however, old lines can be an issue even with a low end pkg. Degrading it even further.

You do have my sympathies however on living in an area with blahhh ISP, hehe, been there done that.

p.s. if you know Aus has bad service, why did you ask :steammocking:

What you said was correct but irrelevant to the thread as OP stated he was from Australia and what you said is also irrelevant for much of Australia who do not get to select a package speed unlike the US, we get what we are given, as I said in my reply to you.

What does bad service have to do with OP asking how long Ark took to download?

You OK ? Your reading comprehension seems a little off.
