Feeding Troodon's
This isnt a taming thing btw, I can see a million of those, I tamed one last night and left inside my house in trough range with plenty of meat in it, logged on this morning and its hunger has dropped but it isn't eating out of trough, so are they meant to eat out of troughs or is this a case of where I need to have it with me and kill something for it eat?

Any insight would be helpful so I can give it a try later on when im home. :D

afaik they only get their hunger up if they eat something alive.

what i have noticed is that since they have such little hunger, it makes it seem like they are eating alot less, when in reality, they take just as long, since they eat every 50 hunger drop they take a while to eat, and since there food can be around the 100s or 200s, its easy to think they r not eating, just watch them, if their food drops below the 50 food mark, then worry, but if it hasnt reached that point then just wait

@Khaarxen yeah thats what I thought might be the case, ill give it a try see what happens.

@Firestorm672 thats a fair point, ill watch it and see, since that could well be the case since its only a level 10, cheers for the insight

its also y u never want to knock this guys out, they will starve before they wake up, kind of an interesting mechanic i must say, but dangerous if they go up against dinos that do topor

I hadnt even considered that since I knew they werent a knock-out tame, if it doesnt eat after a big hunger drop ill try it on dodo's just to safe lol.

Tested now so just posting this to clarify for anyone else wondering, it did eat out of the trough, this was a level 10 Troodon with 100 hunger, so I think once it hit 50 like Firestorm said it will eat, however I put raw fish in aswell since it restores less hunger than meat and it started eating instantly.

Cheers for the input guys !

they have a small hunger pool like moshops, i usually bump it up to around 500 or so so they can go a few days without being fed
