Which wyvern is best

Hey guys im not sure yet which wyvern i want to raise as my personal ride yet,can you guys give me some tips about each wyvern and what each is good for?.

I would get all 3. Raising 5 is no more effort than raising 1 so may as well hatch 5.

I only played SE on a PvE server so this only applies to PvE;

All Alpha Wyvern are fire so their special attacks dont do any damage to a fire wyvern which means you just sit there biting away for an easy alpha kill. Yeah you can kill alpha with the other ones but its super easy with Fire.

Lightning Wyvern are pretty strong against all other dinos, their special attack does a lot of damage.

Poison are good too but the thing is they have a very precise special attack so it takes some time to get the aim right but once you get it, they are like a sniper. Having said that, most people turn their poisons into their weight carriers.

When I was playing SE I used my fire to get milk and hunt eggs so that if I saw an alpha, I could kill it fast

I used my lightning at all other times to farm normal wild dinos.

I used my poison as cargo wyvern but only because the other 2 were so strong. Poison can still be good for killing.

Lightning is by far the best hands down it's not up for debate it does what the others do better and more(Its literally a death ray that destroys everything infront of it)


Fire is better then poison but nowhere near as good as lightning(The fire has poor range but at the very least you can use it as a dot while biting)

Poison is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful in every way except range, too bad the range is worthless because the attack is garbage

Fire is way better than lightning vs an alpha and a high level alpha may even kill your wyvern. Read what I wrote again because I wrote it for people like you. Yes you can kill alpha with the other 2 but it is dead easy with fire.

Furthemore spamming the ray for normal wild dinos is highly inefficient as it drains stamina for a dino you could 1 shot with a bite so it really doesn't matter which dino you use there.

They are better at killing worms, I'll give you that.

Poison can be very strong if you dont derp on the aiming which most people do.

I know you can kill alphas easier but that is very specific. Lightning is still way better and by trying to pretend "They are all equal!" you are being dishonest.

Each type has its own strengths and weaknesses.. poisons shine best in pvp situations because their breath can kill the enemy rider while they are riding on some super hp dino for example.

Wtf are you doing to get a lightning wyvern killed while taking down an Alpha Wyvern?
Are you fighting them toe to toe?
You can easily out-fly and kill any Alpha Wyvern by flying a figure 8.

I tried them all and Fire is my favourite. Nice against Alphas, as mentioned, and I like to land for my standard battles, biting, breathing AOE flame and using the C attack. Much more fun than the others, personally speaking.
