Well, thats an issue that causes problems as a whole. Cause if you look at real life, you can actually address racism with that question. If you think everyone of a certain anything is the same because of a bad experience with a few, than you could potentially be wrong about others that belong to that thing. Thats called sterotyping. And in general, its a bad thing to do. With stores, not every store is going to have the same service, attitude, or work ethics, even if they belong to the same franchise. So, just because you have bad experience with one person or store or company, doesn't mean everyone of that race, franchise, type of companies, is bad. When you meet someone new, do not treat them as you would the people that you had the bad experience with (of course, this can be said about stores, companies, countries, etc). Should you be a little on the cautious side when you meet someone new of a race that you had a bad experience with? Sure, I have no problem with you being cautious, it makes sense to. Caution never hurts. But, outright hostility towards the new person/place, is not a good thing. At least give them a chance.
I'll use McDs as my example, as I don't actually like the taste of BK's food (at least not the two stores I went to). At the McDs that is very close to me, the servers are always nice, prompt, and helpful, especially with new customers, to the returning costumers they treat them as old friends. But, at this other McDs that I went to because it was the closest one to a Convention I was going to (very fun time actually, it was a gaming convention, table top gaming that is), the servers did not smile, were rude, and I had to wait 30 minutes after ordering to get my food (they were not even busy). Worse yet, the food tasted a little different than the one I normally eat at. So, yeah, different stores in the same franchise can actually have different tasting food from each other. But, despite that encounter, my opinion on McDs did not change, nor will I think that every McDs will be like the one that is near me. When I go to a new McDs, I got there as if its a new place to me.
I'm the same way with people. I give everyone an equal chance to disappoint me.
So from the already bad comparison with BK, we're now at a weird point about racism and McDonalds that really has no connection to the original point anymore. Unless you think somehow criticism of ARK is criticism of Steam.
And no, criticism of ARK is not critism of Steam....I think....at least, I have yet to read someone's critism that would suggest that. At most, someone had critism towards Steam for allowing EA games in general, but that was about it. And in truth, I do kinda agree that EA games should not be a thing. But, thats a topic for some other thread, in a different forum in fact.
You know what NGCaliber ? ..maybe its time to pull out DEVs tits from your mouth and start looking on this...ehm,what-used-to-be-a-game from the player,Er.Acc. buyer-aka-investor (ye,we gave them our money to support their project and it became ?.. Mr.Hankey ) view.
This used to be a realy good game,I play it since 2015 or so ( and I have on it around 2.6k hours),when it was on Patch 145 and I loved it,never ever complained about any cent spent into it,even when DLC SE came out but what happen to this in last five months...its making me nearly poke every time I look on this crap in my Library.
Developers-Studio,who sell their project to Chineese or Japanes (dont know yet exactly whats right, can remember..its the SnailStudios) to finalize their project on Dark and Light..its very foul behavior from ARK Devs team to players,supporters-investors,this pile of crap is not worthing now even 20Eur,so much bugs remain unrepaired, servers are very unstable-for last two weeks, almost all Ragnarok servers was down without any warning for couple of hours and in some cases even for days.
So...yes, I will be the on of those "toxic" ppl who will be raging over their stupid OVER price on sale, because THIS DONT WORTH IT..159$ ?..no,AAA products worth this price..DDD products with traitors DEV team dont.
Ofc I know Early Access is not Kickstarter and they had some starting funds to have at least raw game..but now, tell me the difference, we "bought" this unfinished product as the EaAc,we gave them our money which they needed to have more funds to finish that game,we didnt bought final product where everything is already setted and nothing new or no changes will come,we didnt even bought an AAA product, they needed us,EaAc players, who will buy their product and they promised a lot of things which never happend..or maaaaaaaaybe, they will come in future, they didnt even cooperate much with comunity and they did what they wanted, screwing this game so much up and because they knew that their game is dying, losing player base, comunity and all due their stupid manners, they hurry up the release date and gave it OVERPRICE and between all of this, they sell their product to SnailStudios (or moved some sort of DEVs to them,I dont know and realy dont matter that) for finalizing their new own product, Dark and Light, dude, realy..go and look on videos, screenshots..what u will see ? Then come back here and talk.
I am very dissapointed by their behavior to their old player base, which was supporting them from the very start, now they just..throw a **** on them ? No way man.
You failed at reading the early access disclaimer and you have failed in your argument.
