It depends on your other system specs as well. Can't just go off of the graphics card, It seems RAM plays a massive part with it as well cause this is a RAM heavy game

It's not scheduled for release until august 2017.. But considering how weak that gpu is, I would say it's not going to perform very well if you play 1080. If you play at 720 you could probably get away with medium and get good peformance.. :steammocking:

I run with a GTX 970 with an i5 750 and 12 GB RAM on high settings, run just fine as long as I turn sky quality down. Had to do some performance adjustments due to windows 10 but not a problem. it really depends on what you do with your system. Before they started the heavy optimization they've been doing I couldn't do that. I had to run with special launch options to force it to run in directx10 just a few weeks ago. Now I can run it normal. Again, depends on how you set up your pc, what your specs are, and what you put your settings at.

970 is 50% faster than a 1050 ti.

Really? Why is the newer ones not up to snuff then? I was under the impression the 1050 was better?

1060 is better, 50 is two teirs lower than 70 in each generation. One generation newer isn't enough to make up for it. Especially since the x50's are the lowest of the gaming gpu's that nvidia makes. They are just for the extreme low budget builds, nothing else.

Huh. I guess I have a lot to learn about graphics cards for the next time I decide to upgrade. XD

50 = entry level
60 = entry midrange
70 = mid range / entry high end
80 / Titan = high end

Pretty much how Nvidias cards go, anything ending in a 60 or upwards is usually where you want to start unless on a really tight budget.

That GPU will perform about the same as a GTX 960 / GTX 680

I have a GTX 770 - Runs fine on medium - high, 16GB RAM DDR3 1600MHZ and a i7 960.

I run the 1050 ti. It dose fine as long as you don't expect all epic etc. I keep mine mixed, but mostly high with mid or low(can't remember) shadows and sky and was pulling well over 60fps until this patch. When they changed the sky (I assume, something in this patch) my fps dropped to 60ish but on the shore especially at dawn and dusk I'm dropping to 25ish for some reason. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon enuff...

I would say it's definatly playable running at 1920x1080 as long as you don't mind dropping shadows/aa to medium and tweeking the other stuff.
