Trikes unable to gather fiber anymore?

It seems that after the last patch/update a few days or so ago, my trikes are no longer able to gather fiber as they once did. They gather the berries...the seeds...but not the fiber anymore. I can't seem to find any information on this either. Is this problem only a problem of my own or are others unable to gather fiber with trikes?

I can assure you, mine have been able to, it was only recent that they weren't.

I'm aware of the sickle, tho my fear is that it'll eventually break and need to be repaired. I don't have the patience to gather metal, especially since I'm on a singleplayer game.

Trikes have never been able to gather fiber for as long as I've played (Sep 2015)... If your trikes have, then they've been 'fixed' now I guess.

I've been playing this game for 2 years and have had numerous trikes. Never once has a trike picked fiber, only berries and seeds.

Metal takes a very long time to break. By the time you broke the sickle, you would have over 5k fiber. My guess is you are still relying on Metal from rocks. Metal is actually easy to get by the hundreds, and again this is true.

Take a flying bird of your choice and level their weight to max, or at least double your carry weight. Then fly to atop a mountain. Boom metal EVERYWHERE. Also some have it at the base of the mountain but I have found many more predators than at the mountain tops. The most I have to deal with at the top is GETTING to the top due to evil minion birds spawning and flying around the mountains.

Guys it may have been a bug, but I can backup what the OP said. I have had trikes in the past pick up fiber. So I know what he says is true. Though as of about 6 months ago (prob longer) I was no longer able to do so. Even created a thread like this one xDD

So it is possible, even if its just being done as a bug.

It was AWESOME bug. I was honestly sad to find out it was nothing more than a bug. However, now that I use a Sickle, there is NO chance I would go back to using Trike. No berries, no mess, JUST fiber.

Were you using DinoOverhaul or something similar? There was a dino mod that let trikes and stegos gather fibre, can't remember which it was.

I play vanilla, I also don't alter the deafult settings either for more xp or gathering or anything. And yes Gar...I am lazy lol
