Cant find crystals in the big hills

Solo
In the south, I have climbed 2 big hills / small mountains supposed to have crystals. Couldnt find any. I did find the rich metal which was supposed to be close to crystal. I waited for the night. Rich metal glowed. But no crystal.
Is it a bug or what ?

Can you been more specifics about what hills you think should have crystals?
Are you using a current Island map to confirm they should be there?

When was the last time you harvested in SP? i have read that depending on settings, some nodes don't re-spawn as fast in SP.

There is no crystal on that map in either of those locations. closest is 75, 46

the map you linked doesn't show any crystal in either of the cords you gave. I think you read it wrong.

Let me be more precise: lat 75.6 lon 47.3

There are small crystal deposits on the very top of that hill. I have definitely harvested there in the past, but I came in by bird. Can't tell you the best way to get to them by foot.

there are also some on the top of the hill at 64,60

The ones in the 83,64 range you mentioned and all the others in the south are underground in caves.

There is crystal there but I think you're looking on the wrong hilltops. The ones at 75.6 47.3 are straight up the hill from the southwesternmost beaver spawns. Or, if you know the area called "Weathertop" it's a big flat plateau with a bunch of stone and open spaces - from there go to the next hilltop directly to the east. You will cross a river that leads to swamp in the north and the beavers. Keep going to the top of that hill.

Perhaps but I'm tired of chasing a ghost gps spot especially since I have not crafted gps. I will go to the south cave: it's closer and has many more rewards in addition to crystal.
