Resource Respawning... Question Revisited.
You will all have to forgive me for this, but the posts on the official forums as well as here that I could find are all older (2016). Now after 259/260 there seem to be more settings for tweaking elements of the single player/server. One set in particular does not make sense to me... (here is where I must ask for the community's patience with me, I've only recently started tweaking settings for the ARK)

Resource Re-spawn: There seem to be three settings which I'm not sure how they work in concert or if one is simply redundant to the other. Can some one please shed light on the mechanics for the following? (The tool tips don't really help as their descriptions are perplexingly similar)

First -
Structure Prevent Resource Radius Multiplier

Then under world settings -
No Resource Radius – Players
No Resource Radius – Structures

My goal of course is to minimize the radius in which resources will re-spawn from my presence (structure, tame, and of course me...)

I tried turning down the Structure Prevent Resource Radius Multiplier, tried cutting down a test tree near by, leaving the area for a few in game days, and returned to find it did not re-spawn.

Then I tried turning down all three and repeated the experiment, in both cases the trees did not re-spawn.

This is getting frustrating, would someone please shed some light on this?

I've been working on this and keep running in to a wall. did you get any where with it? i had it perfect then aberration came out and for some reason it messed with those settings. every time i mess with the settings now it's either to far or everything is spawning in my base. would be nice to have a reference point and know the difference between Structure Prevent Resource Radius Multiplier and No Resource Radius – Structures. they sound straight forward but there sure not. :)

I started using just these at 0.1 and it seems to work alright... to test of course I turned down the respawn timer as well. It seems to work as I intended. I never did get any kind of clarification as to what the heck "Structure Prevent Resource Radius Multiplier" realy does. I just know that when I change it, it screws up the distance and requency of any respawns...

Ya, i've been testing them out today and as far as i can tell they do the exact same thing. Only if you use them together it amplifies the effect. Maybe thats why one is called a Multiplier. i finally got it were i needed it again but would be nice to know exactly what "Structure Prevent Resource Radius Multiplier" does compared to "No Resource Radius – Structures". Ive looked all over the net for the answer and all i get is the same questions over and over again.
