Ragnarok Oil Veins

Dear Wildcard,

Please fix the oil veins on Ragnarok, or add some more that players are actually able to place oil pumps on. I've found 4 so far that for some reason an oil pump cannot be placed on. Seriously, wtf is the point of oil veins that are unusable? Any that can have a pump placed have already been claimed, and most people keep their pumps locked up :(

be quiet oil veins are extremely broken not buggy broken but game breaking broken you get oil like every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day like 10k oil a day they need to nerf oil pumps first

Oil pumps have always given a ton of oil, that's the general idea of an oil pump. But it's a huge pain when they've got like a dozen oil veins on the server, only half of them can have pumps placed on them, and those were claimed quick, but people keep them locked so no one else can access them. I don't know about other people but I'm a generous player. My base is on a hill/mountain with a water vein, metal deposits, etc. I keep my well unlocked and set up a forge outside my base that's kept unlocked for public use.

I just harvest Oil Rocks to use as an ingredient and mainly use the Wind Turbine for power.

This is something that will likely be addressed as the rest of the map opens up. I'd imagine you'll see more oil pump-able locations on the southern part of the map where there is more open desert land.

Wind is too unreliable, and oil rocks also seem few :(

Yeah, I already know the Ragnarok resource map, that's how I found some of the oil veins. But try turning all off, then checking 'oil rocks' and NOTHING pops up. I don't even recall seeing any the few times I've flown around the snow areas.

The rocks are in the snow caves mainly. Go south of viking bay, where the snow biome starts there is a lake and around there you will find a few caves with enough rocks in them to get you started but long term you really need someone to not be an ass and unlock a vein for you. I don't know why people lock them.

I flew into one or two of the snow caves before, didn't remember seeing any oil rocks. I've just brought oil/gas over from other servers for now. There is one tribe on our server that had their oil pump unlocked, but now it's pin-locked. I'll have to ask if I can get the pin from them as they've been one of the nice tribes on the server. But still this is an issue Wildcard needs to address. If you're going to put oil veins on the map, at least ensure you can put oil pumps on them ffs.
