problem at server start (signal 11 caught)

Hey,
I tried to make a dedicated Server for Ark:SE and started it with the default setting(No Mods)
Using binned.

Im using Debian 8.8 on Linux

By the looks of it the problem is in the very first line of your log. when you try to start the server it is saying that it's not detecting steam running on the system and that is why it is failing to load.

I don't have much experience running Debian. but I do have enough experience with programming to see that to understand what is going on. So try running the steam client on the deadicated server machine and see if that fixes the issue.

and if you do have Steam running on the system there might be something that is missing in the system that is cuasing the error

Im using a vServer for this so i dont know how i can start Steam from the console..

you were downloading ark and not the server files. while trying to start it your linux OS noticed that steam isn't running.

the appID for the dedicated server is 376030
