What's the easiest way to tame a Megalodon?
I have pretty much every dino I wanted besides Allosaurus and Megalodon. I have a lot of raw muttons and narcotics so there won't be a problem with taming it, but the real problem is how to knock it out?I have already made an underwater cage for it so maybe I could make it follow me inside it, but I'm not sure if it's aggressive. If it won't work, does it run away when it's close to dying/falling asleep? I could try making a raft and just following it, but if I tamed it in the middle of the ocean, something could eat it and me. What are your suggestions? Will it follow me if I hit it?
btw my dinos are rex, ptera, argentavis, trike and carno if that helps. I have all the resources, but there might be a problem with making darts for longleck rifle.

You wanna get the harpoon gun and narc harpoon

Also Allosaur are the new carno for me ... WELL worth getting.

Even without Alpha pack buff.

Fun as hell to hunt too!

Also mega's are "coded" to show up in packs of 3-5 when there is food i nthe water
tame something juicy take it out into the water ... and wait.

and should I grab the Megalodon with the harpoon gun? What if jellyfishes get me? What if I lose all the air?

Megalodons are easy, usually the first creature I tame. Find a spot of beach with a shallow stretch and a few rocks you can get up on. They have a mighty long aggro range, so spot one you like, spy glasses work under water, and swim towards it until it turns at you. Bait it in close, try to get it between the rocks and the shore, use the rocks to recharge your stamina and crossbow+tranq arrows will get the job done.

Now thats all for open water, no cage. If you have any sort of cage, or scuba, its even easier. Take a stack of stone arrows as well, in case you need to thin out its friends, or kill any jellies that get curious.

Easy, try to aggro him/her into a beach and then, make it a giant narcotic arrow porcupine, problem solved

when I try the bait method and they get close, I'm gonna agro one into my cage and just tame it

megalodons are common and easy to get, you can kite them near the shore or you can easily kite them into an underwater cage/taming pen, etc.

but don't ever tame a low level megalodon, the ocean is carnage and constant combat, it WILL die unless it's 200+ or something close if you're leaving it in open water

if you're not doing that, then make sure to construct your pet pen or underwater base or enclosure or whatever before you start taming it

I actually had 2 level 200 megalodons that I left on neutral on the center and one that was like 160ish that I left on passive, after like 2 days they were all dead
guys do I drop dead body in the sea or what to make them come? They were here like 2 hours ago, I went offline, came back and there is no sharks!

"Chumming, which is killing a smaller fish and holding it in your hand while on the beach, or even just setting it on the beach, will attract any Megalodons in the area to it. They will swarm the beach trying to get to the fish. Sometimes they will beach themselves and die. (This will not cause Megalodons to spawn if they are not in the area; so try to do it in places where you see them swimming off in the distance.)"
