Sorry for the 2 month necro, but for anyone still having this problem, I've found that mounting and dismounting any tamed creature will make the music stop.
Please don't hate me :D
It's fine! I felt popular for a second. :D
Thank you for the tip. Can confirm that mounting and dismounting works!
I'm still having this problem loading into Ragnarok on a private server. I have noticed that the music stops while it's loading, almost like it thought it was done loading, then restarted when it realized it wasn't done. That's when it keeps going after having loaded in.
I'm necroing this for the same reason as the above post. This solution works like a charm, and hopefully others who have this issue will see this a bit more quickly and have less of a headache from it.
It's not the game it's the new Steam ingame interface playing videos.
I've seen some recent reports on different game forums it turned out the same. Steam overlay issue.
Also not relevant necro.
ARk extinction music plays via steam even if i turned down all music to zero ingame via Steam client webhelper.
Ok i can turn down the volume in the mixer, but still. It playes and takes a lot of bandwidth. But the fix is to open the mixer and turn down Steam client webhelper to zero.
Apparently one can delete steam parameter history too but I dont know at all where to find it.
