Structure Collision
Has anyone done the new command to allow structures to clip into the terrain? I added it to my ini file but I can only get the corpse finder to work, cant seem to clip my foundation pieces into the terrain.

I've heard people say that but I've never seen the Devs confirm it

The mod maker of S+ is planning to remove the no collision from his mod now that the 'build in' version works just as well. So we know he got it to work

What are you playing? The option is for Unofficial Servers and single-player only.

Sorry for the late reply here but yeah it is on my own Server (unofficial) ... I put both the Locate Corpse and the Non Collision commands in, but ony the locate corpse seems to work.

Makes me really sad because I always needs the S+ mod for foundations since there is soooo much uneven terrain to build on.

It's a checkbox in the ARK rules section at the bottom of the general tab, disable structure placement collision

Collision true or false? Because the command is 'disableCollision'.

What command are you talking about?

Not sure what you are talking about??

It is a command you put in the ini file of the server...

New Host Option: Disable Structure Placement Collision! Unofficial Servers and single-players can enable this feature to allow them to place structures that clip into terrain. Add bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=true to your Game.ini for server use.

Start the game, select Host/local then scroll down to the bottom of the list of options in the ARK rules, at the bottom is the option disable structure placement collision put a check in the box and it's done. Personally i've never messed around with the ini file myself.

I do not run a server through the "host" option.

I run it through a server hosting website. So checking those options wont help here unfortunately. Guess I'll have to personally make sure this code is actually in the ini file.

I think i figured it out, I added the codes to the wrong ini file.
Pope Kael Jun 26, 2017 @ 5:55pm
Could you elaborate on this Grimfyre? There is only one ini file on my hosted server. I have placed both lines under the [ServerSettings] section in my GameUserSettings.ini file but neither option is working on our server.
