HarvestHealthMultiplier more Resources or not?
Im having a discussion with someone about this modifier.
I say the increase of HarvestHealthMultiplier does not increase the amount of resources you get from a node it only increases the time it needs to completely harvest it because the "health" is higher. He says the higher the health the more resources you get overall.

So whos right and of you really get more what is the math behind it?

sure?
so if the base amount overall would be 10 and i increase the health to 2 i would get 20 but would have to hit it double the times to get it?

The health multiplier increases how many hits it takes, not the resources it gives. For example say a tree can take 10 hits and gives 10 wood per hit. If you double the health multiplier it will take 20 hits and give 5 wood per hit. The only way it affects the end result is the durability of your tool and the time spent hitting the resource.

HarvestHealthMultipler = amount of whacks needed to totally harvest.
HarvestAmountMultiplier=x.x = the amount of stuff it gives in total.

Pretty sure, lets say a rock on the ground you pick up 1 stone with default. If you increase it you'll get 2, 5, 100 stones from the same 1 rock.

And the same happens with everything else, more meat, hide from dead dinos and go on.

Edit: oh sorry I missreaded, post above mine is correct.

Test in singleplayer but I did it myself a few months ago and these were my findings.
Basically it determines the time you spend doing the mindless stuff. You could decrease it to add more focus to the more enjoyable things. Less hitting, more building/fighting etc.

Dunno why anyone would want to increase the health unless he wants to get more resource out of a node without making it unbalanced.

If you increase the health by 2 but the amount by 2 too you would get 2 times the basic resource but it takes double the time to get it too so its kinda balanced.

So for x100 it would be 0.01 correct?
