Player Map Tracking

So my friends and I have just started a new server, and we where wondering if there is a setting or a mod that will allow us to see each other on the map.

Example scenario where this would be useful:
My friends dino just died and now they are stuck in the forrest, I jump on my ptero to go pick them up, and can easily find them by looking at their location pin on my map.

Any help would be appreciated.

enable player location in the ini setting i believe as long as you are in the same tribe you will see each other

I have tried that but it doesn't seem to work. It only shows your player on the map, not others.

Don't know about mods, but on vanilla closest you can get is to put trackers on each other.[ark.gamepedia.com]

I'm amazed they haven't made markers a thing yet. Thanks for the info though. At least thats something. :)

idk about mods but try using the transpondent nodes put 1 on each dinos or birds and then click the tracker u should be able to find out where they're at
