Ragnarok Castle Stairs Bug

Found a bug/map glitch:

My character cannot smoothly walk up the steps to the big castle overlooking Viking Bay. She'll get caught on specific points, like there's something in the way. Kinda really sucks cuz this castle is AMAZING!

I have it too. This game needs to be fixed pronto.

Update: Now I can't smoothly walk on any surface and needs to be totally flat for me to walk without stopping

Yes, but how do I fix it from happening in the future, relogging in takes 15 - 25 mins

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean, if you had meant the changesize cheat, I almost never have that on. If you mean in the character creater, I try make my person about as short as I am. If it helps, I have a sort of old computer setup that janks out quite often whether I am playing Ark or not

15-25 min?? try, a dozen less mods/ I load in 2 min with about 10 mods

While I sympathize with you, wulffaem, your issue has nothing to do with the original post. This post is in regards to a specific set of stairs on a specific map (Ragnarok). It's also 2 years old lol.

It sounds like your problem is related to latency, or perhaps just outdated hardware. No character should have trouble walking across a flat surface.

1. Even with no mods, it takes forever. 2. All smalll rises in terrain like steps of fence foundations cause this problem. Without and with mods, this game performs badly on my computer and my boyfriends computer which is in date and has new hardware, this stuff still happens. If one other person has commented on this happening, I would like to know how old their computer is and how often it happens to them. The stairs work most of the time but not all of the time and that is why I think it is a problem with the game and not just my computer. Once again, I need to know other people who have this problem and what their hardware is like because it isn't forever to which I can't climb up stairs and fence foundations. It is occaisional.

I wish you luck in finding a solution. The game DOES run like ♥♥♥♥, that is sadly true for everyone.

If you and your boyfriend are both having the same issues, I would first examine the quality of your internet. Are you playing wirelessly? Is it a broadband connection? Etc.
