you can only force tame it...no saddles are even out for it.....they put out a new animal with no saddle for it on an unfinished map

@Kepano_808HI No. You should really pay attention to the trailer. The Griffin doesn't need a saddle to ride. The saddle isn't in the game because you don't need it.

no you do need a saddle it says it after you tame it

That's because it's not even in the game yet, it's just a spawn command because they needed something to show off at E3.

I will upload a video about it to youtube. No saddle needed at all. Just down it and use prime.
And you are free to ride it after tame done.
And They are in the center of the map. (At least they spawn there)

there was a bug that made it think it had a saddle but they fixed it in one of the daily updates.

Is it just me or can you not fly this on The Center map? I spawned one in in singleplayer on The Island; no problem. So I then spawned one to hunt down and tame with my friends on our own server.. We tamed it, but you can not ride it.. Only when holding the E-key and chosing; Ride as Passenger you actually get on it, but thats the passenger seat, so you can't fly it. Any help?

Hmm.. I tried singleplayer on the Center with and without the mods that I run on my server and it worked fine.. Yet in the server I can't ride it.. Going through the server settings now to see if something might be blocking it, but can't imagine what it would be..

EDIT:
Problem found. My server hasn't updated past 258.8 and the bug with the griffin is fixed in 258.81
