Does someone know, how you can make meat spoils slowlier when in the feeding trough in Scorched earth?

I had the idea, that i can build the f.d. In a room whith some clima Generators. But i dont know if that will take effects to the meat....

Put preserving salts in it.

You can't place preserving salts in a trough - and nothing else will increase the spoil time in the trough either. Instead, stockpile extra meat in a fridge or preserving bin (which will allow salt), and just top off the meat in the trough twice as often as you would on the other maps.

Wrong, thats what Ark-Wiki says: "It can not be used in a Feeding Trough, as it will not accept Preserving Salt into its inventory. "

Can i Use preserving salt in the inventory of my young argentavis?

When breeding on SE you need to use cooked meat. Using raw is just going to make your job that much harder due to the spol timer. If the weight of the dino permits, I would put the meat on the actual dino because there you can use salt.

It's still a pain man, I remember losing Argies back in the day because I accidentally slept 6 hours. Far better off setting up a breeding base on the island or center
