higher quality tek gear?

im wondering if you can get drops for tek gear in say 'journeyman-mastercraft" qualities like you do for other gear?
the reason i ask is, i play SP and currently have decent flak armor - all with advanced qualities that i think give better stats than base tek stuff. If so then i have no reason/point to even try the bosses solo (been kinda gearing up for it)
i will probably try anyway just for the fun of it but ... would like to know if the tek stuff is even worth it, or if im just doing it for the trophies needed for ascention

Beside that Quality seem not to eixst for Tek stuff yet it is still worth it, Hover, Super speed, no fall dmg, and even able to climb Mountains, also a bonus to Hyper and Hypo insolation when having a full set charged, Flak has nothing of that.

its likely i will have to mod - hack most of the tek being SP but i will feel ok with it if i can manage the first boss on easy first, maybe even try med if i get to that point :-)

I would suspect higher quality tek armor prints are probably being reserved for Ascension level players. Tek armor does have quality levels though. I don't think it affects any of the special abilities, but it does affect the armor and durability just like with other armor qualities.

SteelFire what do you mean by reserved? if they are 'drops' even for ascension players, it seems like someone would have found some. its not like the loot drops are specific for each player, you can get bp drops you dont have 'unlocked' but it is certainly possible they exist but they havent put in some mechanic or boss drop for them yet?

If you are having a hard time killing the bosses and just want the tek things unlocked, just hit tab and type kill while looking at the boss. Not sure if that will count thought since I ahve not tried it yet.

I havent tried yet, but i am getting ready too, from what ive read the first one is doable so wanna try it, but yea at some point i may need to resort to some kind of command or mod to get all of the tek stuff but i just want to 'attempt' as much as possible before i use them

Required Materials can be adjusted to make it a bit more expensive to compensate the Difficulty from Bosses.

i wanted one i dont see now (had a random factor that seemed less cheaty :P), but im kinda looking at this one now, im gonna need a way to unlock the bp's i cant get from easy bosses in addition to element (it has that too)

Aight, if you're using one of em then, i wish you much fun as it really does with Tek stuff even through it cost alot when playing with low rates ( not Official ) :D
