Tooltip not appearing

When i hover the mouse cursor over craftables, tooltip does'nt pop up anymore, i have to go to the engram menu to know what i need to craft stuff?
Has anyone had the same problem?

There is a tooltip button when you are looking at your inventory, this enables or disables the tooltip. It is on your inventory side, left, at the top right most button.

You can also press "G" to toggle tooltips.

i think i might have pressed it by accident and didn't realize there was even a key to do that :)

Necro'ing since others come from (Google) search ...

I had a related problem -- I accidentally turned off the text labels when inventory was open.

G - Toggle tooltips
Q - Toggle text labels

Does anyone know what "Quick Toggle Item Names" actually does?
i.e. ESC > Options > Advanced Settings > Quick Toggle Item Names

also sometimes dropping 1 item and picking it up will sort this(in game if you want material list) .... seriously ....try it !!

for every one that had my problem my gamepad was still connected i had to un connect it
