Bees on the Center

Any specific spot in the Redwoods tehre have them? Also any tips to make finding them easier.

No theyre just on the trees. Their color is almost the same as the sap tree so fly clsse/near tree to find them

they are pretty up high on the trees so u might want a quetz or argent. Tooke me and my friend a couple few time to tame those. Look very carefully at any sap tree , u should see it.

it's random where they are, I've seen a few. They spawn about 1/3 up the tree, sometimes half way.

Was not looking that high....that makes sense.

They are plentiful on The Island. Actually just tamed my first bee :)

There was a hive right outside my base (cliff face), but I ballsed that up. Took a few tries, my dino killed 2, thought I was being careful but I guess not enough. They have such little hp, keep your dino on passive til the drones are *well* clear the queen (assuming you are not handling the adds yourself).

BTW - noticed some vids saying the Tek rifle kills the queen (if shooting at the hive), thats not true!! I ran out of bullets and figured while Im standing in the middle of redwood might as well just try take out some more hives, used my Tek rifle and just fired 1 shot at a time, got my queen bee =)

Wait they don't appear on trees alone?

no, sometimes you'll get a pair of hives on a tree or you'll get both a hive and a thyla on the tree

They appear on cliffsides on the island as well. I found one on a cliff above my original base on The Footpaw.
