Full disclosure - Oops, ate my own Ark poo

Sooner or later I think this happens to most people. In my case I hit the wrong key when in a hurry to transfer some poop into the compost bin. Unreal as it is I couldn't avoid a momentary OMG.
I think the devs are missing a great opportunity to add some better effects when this happens. You know, gagging, barfing, etc. Treat it like torpidity and make it leave you helpless for a little bit.

lol I agree. I once ate a fertilized Argentavis egg and I was really pissed then I found out many players have accidenatlly done the same thing.

I've never eaten poo. However, I have eaten narcotics thinking they were stims at quick glance. Also, as I play modded, have managaged to eat fertalised alpha carno eggs. and just yesterday, I managed to eat a wyvern egg, as I was moving it outside at 3% left. Face plant was not sufficicent.

Maybe a modder will take of the challenge to adding some appropriate player reactions.

I play with a mod that adds what are essentially super narcotics...

My friend routinely eats them instead of transferring them to the dino and we end up force feeding him stims to wake him up.

A thought for the devs - the way things work in real life is that humans don't have a single action (like the 'USE' button/key) that controls a wide range of activities. I have yet to eat one of my dog's poops when cleaning up the yard nor crammed an egg into my mouth when taking it out of the carton. A single multi-use button/key makes aspects of the game easier but also more risky.

Thinking about it some more gives me the impression they did it on purpose for some good laughs and/or cries since you can't stuff most ingame items into your piehole - like C4. Now that could be a sneaky way to do a suicide bombing after being captured. Maybe the modders should look at that as the thing to work on LOL
