Hatching an egg and keeping it alive?
I think Im missing something here. Im having a heck of a time with hatching babies, am I missing something? After killing a para baby I decided to practice with the do do's since theyre faster. So far, 3 attempts and 3 deaths. Ive tried reading the wikis and they dont give a whole lot of details.

I hatch the egg, imprint, and stay in his inventory watching his health and making sure it doesnt run out of food. First 2 tries I didnt stay in its inventory and after i fed them, they insta died. This last try, staying in its inventory I got it to stay alive almost 2 minutes. Its health was at 5 most the time then jumped almost to full health, then the health dropped back down and it died. Still had plenty of berries. Any advice on keeping a baby alive? Thanks!

I too have had this insta death. Is this on Center? I have had an issue for a while if more then one baby is on the map there is a garontee for us all but one will die. and on the other maps we are having issues with all ages not eating of their own doing and ista starve.

If this is not the case you also need to know that you need them to be high level to be sure health has a good base rate. Only breed two animals of higher level as they only start with a small % of the health, Carry, or food of the adult so have less margin for error.

Try force feeding?

Force feed food. When food drops for the value for 1food, force feed 2 unless it's wyvern. Wyvern are actually the easiest raise if you ignore the fact that you have to milk wyvern.

I shall try that. The base stats were low so that may be the case. Ill try finding higher level ones to try with next time. Thanks!
