Ramps are no option.
Worked fine when I played around with them the other day.
I'd be careful building with these things.. as they might get changed (don't know that for sure) but they feel 100% incomplete. No door access, collision bugs, and overall useless as a real base. Plus, unless you are cheaty or come across a crap ton of Element, they are super expensive to maintain. Maybe when they add the Tek Cave, and if there are "rocks" in there to mine Element / Shards from it might become easier to get the geny going to power the compartments.
These don't really work that great in them.. as most things with ARK they sizes don't match up..
The Vacuum Compartments are large, but they are not equal to 2 walls high, they are actually higher. so things don't line up correctly.
I use the normal basemoduls for a path to the ocean floor (just for fun on our server :-) ).
Now i can "open" the floorpart and can change the floors with ladders. Problem i, the floor is still visible while i can fall to the ground ...
