Primitive/Prehistoric VS Tek tier and SCI-FI

Ark was primitive at first. You would craft primitive tools and weapons in order to survive the harsh enviroment and predators on the mysterious island.

Now we have SCI-FI Tek Tier that is basically just a re-skinned iron man suit.

What happened to the good ol' ark we used to know and love? I mean, sure, the obelisks and pillars inside the caves were kind of SCI-FI-ey, but that was it.

ARK is an example of a game that forgot who they were.

I dont know, what do you guys think?
Should ARK be more SCI-FI-ey or should it return to it's roots and focus more on the primitive caveman-survival?

Never said it was meant to be that way, I said that was how it used to be back in the days.

I would much rather prefer old school ark (even with the bugs) over the new ark. The new ark is good, but the old ark had a certain charm to it.

Right there were alpha tribes all running around with whatever the current max level destruction dealing dino or hordes of cannon fodder high dps dinos were at the time.

Tek was always planned I knew about it back when I started ark and that was pretty much release.

ARK never felt primitive to me. I woke with a weird implant in my arm and I saw floating shards in the sky in my first few minutes of play ^^

If you want to play ARK: Survival not-that- Evovled, then just play primitive! Big strength of the game, you have the choice - so choose, dont complain.

Did you miss where I said "Why would you add the endgame tier first to a game that is developing"? ARK was never primitive.

All he did was ASK what was most prefered by the comunity of Ark ( either Primitive stuff or "TEK" stuff). Yes he did said some wrong things, but he was not complaining, so stop f4cking being salty ffs....

I personally prefer primitive gameplay, altough is it not prehistoric (implants, obelisk, wrong era dinos etc). Yet I dont play on primitive plus, I just simply avoid the tek tier on the server I play on, its disabled.
