you can execute multiple commands right one after another by concatenating them with a space, a so called "pipe" character and another space followed by the next command, just remember you will have to put "admincheat" (or just "cheat") in font of the new command too
i often use that to assemble different kinds of chained commands, like spawning in requirements for the bossfights with just 1 chained command instead of having the pain to execute them all separate.
speed is the same, but idk how gmsummon works at all, is it giving bonus points or anything special?
and ye, actually i saw that in the spawn codes thread from jen when tek came out, she posted a chained command for spawning in all tek armor plus the rifle at once and my mind got blown when i saw how easy it is lol...
As example: on a previous server before I became jaded and cynical, I actually cared about certain dinos that I tamed, so much so I could remember exact colors and stats they had, and they were my beloved dinos. I sadly ended up losing them when I tried to transfer to a new server and it just... got all fudged up and they disappeared completely. So I started spawning em in, trying to get the right stats comparable to those dinos, and then coloring them correctly.
I like to call it "Necromancy" for RP-sake:D
If theres one thing I learned from Rust its never get attached.
Nothing moves but the players. (doors don't open, dinos don't move, etc)
The dino will spawn in front of you, but not move.
Then you can type dotame before it flys off, runs off, or eats you.
Then undo playersonly.
This command spawn a tamed Trike, makes it lvl 150 (full affinity).
Command REQUIRES the quotes around the NPC file name.
This is all offline expirience im sure online is different.
But really, I see zero advantage to having a longer command with more typing that does the same as a shorter command. That doesn't mean the pipe symbol trick isn't a good one to know; on the contrary, it's fantastic. Just not needed in *this* situation.
