Inventory
I think this new inventory is very complicated and not practical at all. We can't see which item we choose to use. Resources are written in smaller characters and can't click tp choose how many of am item we can make . Listing items and item types require 1 or 2 more clicking now. :( Please give us the old inventory/building screen. This game is all about building and it has to be fast and practical before a dino atacks you.

For me the inventory is great yeah the text is small but it does not bother me. all they should do is add a feature in the options menu for text size. Everything in the new inventory is just as quick if you know the keys to press.

How great ? you cant see what resources you need and you have to click 2 3 times to enter weapon or armor sections. Shorting entire draw lsit by type or name was a lot quicker.

Lots of options in the menu you are apparently not using. :steamfacepalm:

It just sucks and 60% is not working as it should. Fix after fix after fix - still not working. Beside looking like a standard futuristic ego shooter UI, the game lost a s*load of character with this new UI.

That's just because you were too used to the other one >.>

The futrusistic look suits ARK MUCH more than the old one. Makes sense this way.

I think you're exaggerating with 60%. I only encountered two bugs whilst testing it all out. One, clicking craft X number (custom number, say 747) would only craft the maximum number you could have of that item in a stack, so 100 for narcotics or 50 for darts. Two, custom files would become invisible after specific actions until you reopened the inventory.

BTW when you double click a foundation its placed in your hotkey bar which is not nice. Please reverse the inventory system completley.
About that futuristic thing lol no even the sounds are futuristic now which makes no sense if you are in stone age

It takes some getting used to if you were used to the old one, but it's prettier. Is it better? Nah. I don't see any actual improvement other than stacking...and the whole inventory/crafting thing is meh.

That seems to be quite an overexaggeration for one little gripe about the new UI

Why ? When I make sparkpowder its like a metal machine cutting someting and if you close mortar inventory (while making something) its like a dragon psssing ( like those random sounds you hear sometimes) It doesnt look prettier or practical (have to click more and spend more time to open list and even to close pressing e doesnt close anything now)

While I agree about the sounds being strange, especially on primitive crafting tables, I don't think that deserves a revert back to the old UI, rather change the current certain aspects of the UI.

Excpet the inventory comes from the chip in your arm, so it does make sense.
As far as I know double clicking something always put it in your hotbar.

So, is it a glitch or intended that I now cannot hover over items to see what is required to craft or repair them? That's been bugging me pretty bad lately.
