Can't summon bosses/craft tributes (dedicated private server)

So I've been playing Ark for about a week, I just hosted my own dedi server to play with a couple of friends. I'm admincheating around looking at the map, building tek stuff to check it out, etc. but for some reason I can't use the Obelisks to craft any tributes or even consume them if I spawn them directly into my inventory.

When I go to the obelisk to craft a tribute, despite having all of the ingredients it shows them to be all red as if I didn't have them in my inventory. Really not sure whats going on, or how the whole boss system thing works.

Any ideas?

Ok so apparently pressing T doesn't work to transfer stuff. Its expecting it to be in ITS inventory, so you have to drag stuff manually, then you can craft the summon things - but it immediately performs the summon, so the summon items don't work in your inventory.

There are no summon things, you summon a portal to the bossarena, that's it.

Yeah, I figured that out but its confusing because a) you can't press T to transfer to the terminal and b) it says the items to activate the boss are craftables, meaning you should be able to craft them.

For a beginner the whole thing is very confusing.

If you do it the "admin" way anyways, you can just summon the bosses manually and kill em with the "cheat kill" command to unlock and get loot.
Other than that there's also an unlock command so you can manually unlock TEK engrams to be able to use them. Just google for gamepedia ark wiki, there's everything you need.

Hey actually there are cheats to spawn the boss portals so you and you're friends can do boss battles here they are Broodmother Gamma : Summon Bossteleporter_spider_c for the Beta it is Summon Bossteleporter_spider_medium_c and for Alpha is
Summon Bossteleporter_spider_hard_c for megapithicus it's: Summon Bossteleporter_gorilla_c
same thing goes with Megapithicus Beta and Alpha e.g Summon Bossteleporter_gorilla_hard_c
Dragon :Summon Bossteleporter_dragon_c
Summon Bossteleporter_dragon_medium_c
Summon Bossteleporter_dragon_hard_c
Manticore : Summon Bossteleporter_manticore_c

Oh also i am the only founder of these cheats and yes they do work but make sure you do it outside you're base unless you want to risk teleporting dinos that you don't want in the arena

ok well sadly you cannot transfer stuff into the Tribute by pressing T you have to put them into the Tribute manually for the terminal to work or you have to know the spawn codes for the Boss tributes if you want to teleport into a boss arena using inventory method but however cheating the Boss Tributes into your inventory is not really a good idea since you cannot remove them from the inventory unless you die or use spectator mode and disable it to force respawn (Deletes you're inventory) so my best advice to you is just commit suicide to remove the Tributes from you're inventory unless you want to delete everything on your character (But you still keep Engrams and Levels and XP) or you can use the Boss Teleporter codes i said earlier also the Tribute items that are needed cannot be crafted unless you get a mod that allows you to craft them and if they did make them craftable you will be seeing everyone on official Servers doing constant boss battles and unlocking the Tek Tier stuff with ease and a lot of players hate Tek Tier well except me of course i love tek tier i always use Tek and nothing else
