Is Thylacoleo on the center now? What is the problem about that?
Is Thylacoleo on the center now?
What is the problem about the implementation of that creature on this map?

I havent played The Center alot, does it have a Redwood forest area? Because that is the Thylacoleo's natural habitat in ARK. So I would assume that to be the problem if The Center is lacking the big Redwood trees.

No, it's not on the center yet. The reason being, they have to add a whole new spawn point (the trees) instead of it sharing spawns with other creatures.

no, it's because it needs specific spawn points and the devs are keeping Ben(the center's only developer) back with other work, he said he hoped to release an update by the end of the month, but the update he's talking about should've already been in for over 3 months... guess he's working on another map with WC/ another DLC map

Wow. You'd think this was an incredibly easy fix since there is already an expansive redwood biome there.

not really, it probably needs a special spawn generator, because these thyla's spawn in trees, they do not climb back up after jumping out which says something about the AI limitations, and because they have to spawn in a certain position without falling out instantly the spawner needs to be put up correctly, I wouldn't be suprised if it needs multiple spawners for each tree, which is time consuming to make, but then again, mod maps all have them in and they spawn correctly, so I'm not sure why it's taking him this long. With the dev team behind him to ask help I don't understand why it takes so damn long at all.
Looks to me like what he's working on is his own game, not another ARK map, based on his tweets. But I guess I don't know for sure.

We haven't gotten a bunch of new animals that are much easier spawn points to add than thylacoleo. Also, given that a single line in the INI makes them not just spawn but do so in trees, I don't think it's really *that* complex to add them.

There's supposed to be a big update coming for the center, deeper oceans and I'm hoping it will include the Thylacoleo and the notes.

If you check his twitter:

"Definitely coming in next update:

- Adding missing dinos: There are a number of missing dinos on the map that are currently not spawning, before you ask "does this include this or that" yes, yes it does include that and this and that too, (even eels, but in lesser numbers :P)."
