cheat forcetame is not working can someone help?

Heya I am trying to forcetame some stuff for people on my server and the command seems to not be working is there a setting that I should check to see if it stops the command from working or is my server just glitched?

stupid question - are u logged in as admin

type cheat fly and see if u can fly / cheat walk to walk

or use use
gmsummon "dino class" level
summons and instantly tames a dino of chosen level and adds bonus levels on top (perfect tame)
for example
gmsummon "wyvern_character_bp_lightning_c" 150
you summon lvl 225 tamed light wyvern
Note: "" around dino class are obligatory

Believe you always have to enablecheats then set yourself as admin with your password that should have been provided on the control panel page of your server

After that then youll have to do "cheat forcetame" with out quotes

You may also have to add your steam ID to the cheat whitelist also on your server control panel page.

The server provider should have a knowagebase page with how to do all of this.

I am a admin on the server and have tryed all the commands and the only ones that do not work are the ones to do with forcetaming.

Just tryed that command out and it spawns but not tamed

Fount the issues I am super dumb and set the amount of dinos tamed so high that it was set to super small.

check your sliders in solo game advanced settings ..............most of the settings u want r there

I know what he means as I just had to resolve the same issue with my server.

When you make say a Nintrado Server for ARK, there's an option for 'Maximum Amount of Dinos Tamed.' By default it's set to 0. At first, I figured 0 would equate to 'unlimited' but it indeed means NO dinos can be tamed at all! As such, any tame commands or GM Summon Commands won't work since, technically, you want nothing tamed on the server...Argh!!!

How do you fix this? Increase your max dinos tamed setting to something you like (I did 2000 :P) and then it'll work properly again. Problem solved!

P.S. - Also make sure under the 'Restrictions' options 'Disable Dino Riding' and 'Disable Dino Taming' or NOT checked! Nintrado has added more features for customizing servers, but make sure to confirm what's been checked in automatically as there's probably a few things you don't want.
