the new ones are horrible - like a good example - quetzel, its old calls were bae, the new ones it sounds like its constantly being hurt with the new calls
like the old ones where if something attacked it, would do the hurt noises - when they switched the old calls to the new they made it that its idle calls sound like its being attacked - you constantly check it thinking a wild dinos killing it..
I like the new combat music, but wish they would mix it up with the old version, too. As for the dino sounds, most of the new sounds are absolutely awful.
The pteranodon in particular sounds like a dying cat in it's last moments from gurgling bubble bath. The raptors sound like pigs and the argentavis hurts my ears with it's high pitch squeals. I much prefered their older sounds...
I don't mind the parasaur so much. Better that they sound like hippos than something that sounds like a sound designer threw some household appliances together and mixed it with dog barks.
lmao
