Tek Tier Items vs Bosses

It's not intended as you're suppose to fight to GET TEK, not use it. I think it's more of that the bosses hold these things to unlock the door to the truth behind the island. In story, these are only killed once, not like how we are farming them for element.

Here's the thing, these aren't the only bosses. There's more, possibly in the TEK cave, as there's models for strange creatures with a mysterious form.

That doesn't make sense, you seriously can't use the end game gear you get from bosses, on those bosses?

You have to keep killing them to keep getting element don't you?

I guess either way it's probably a complete waste to use tek against a boss anyway. It isn't really that good.

If you spawn them in while you are in the arena, you can also use them there.
To be undisturbed while doing so, you can enter "playersonly"and everything will freeze except you.

Lied about using tek on bosses? You can't. You go try to see if you can. You can spawn them in, but that's just cheating the stuff in. I just said that TEK is not going to make up lack of skill that would be needed for the boss. Not insulting, being honest. If you wanted me to be insulting, there would be harsher words. That's hardly insulting.

Wow thanks, that was the part I was missing, I entered the arena already with the itmes.

I am running a PVE, modded server and we just came across this issue. Built up a lot of TEK gear and went boss hunting only to get wrecked because our gear doesn't work. Is there a server setting to resolve this?

No,if you read the thread before necroing it from the dead, you would of seen that the tek is not functioning on the bosses. It only works on the tek cave, it doesn't work retroactively
